Mami (真実) is a classmate of Yuno and Miyako, and is also Nakayama's best friend. She lives somewhat close to Yamabuki High School and has an unnamed older sister in college.

When Mami went on a summer vacation to Okinawa with her family, she entrusted her beloved dog Pome to the Hidamari Apartments residents' care.
Mami is very cheerful and likes teasing others.

- She becomes more prominent in the manga once Sae and Hiro graduate, having Mami and Nakayama fill in.
- In the girls locker room she's been known to unhook girls' bras and skirts from behind. When this lead to her accidentally exposing Yuno's cat paw-printed underwear, she apologized.[1]
- She has a sister. Mami texted her while on the School Trip to Kansai. It's unknown whether she is older or younger.[2]
